What is the song "Fix You" about? 

It is a sobering meditation on grief in the face of the death of a loved one. The lead singer, Chris Martin, co-founder of the pop group Coldplay, developed this song to comfort his then-wife, actress Gwyneth Paltrow, after the death of her father. Her father was Bruce Paltrow a filmmaker.
