My work explores presence, structure, and psychological depth through three interrelated modes: Silent, Structural, and Narrative Monumentalism. Together, they investigate monumentality not as scale, but as disciplined presence — a controlled tension between body, space, and perception.

Pieter Lategan Title: Lockdown Day 6 No Booze
Medium: A4 Paper Pencil H, HB
Today is day 6 of South Africa lockdown because of the coronavirus, 5 people are dead.
I draw this man from a photo which I got from the internet. I am really satisfied. The face is working, the hand was a bit difficult, but yes I am happy and feel well done. I would like to work on the background but let me first get the faces correct.
